Way back when I had just rolled into town, the very first weekend I was here in DFW, The Makeup Show was going on. So Paula of Older Girl Beauty and I took ourselves down to see what was what. If you’ve never been and are a makeup lover, this show is for you. It’s absolutely amazing. Major brands are there, like Make Up For Ever and NARS, as well as smaller, less-known brands that you’ve probably never heard of. One of those brands is Crown Brush, and one of their products is the Overexposed palette.
It’s really just an answer to Urban Decay’s Naked palettes, but so much cheaper. And the wear isn’t any worse at all. You’d think a budget palette would be a nightmare, but in this case, it just isn’t true.
I started wearing them back in June. The 12 shades of the Overexposed palette are mostly shimmery shadows in shades of tan, but also some pinks, kind of playing on the rose gold thing, I think. I’m still wearing them now, and I’m still as happy with them as I was back then.
I’ve watched all the shades for you so you can check them out, and also visit Crown Brush to find out more. It’s currently sold out, but I’m assured that more are on the way.
Oh, and did I mention it’s only $21.95? Yeah. So there is that too.
Overexposed palette is only at Crown Brush.
